Swiss metalcore band Breakdown Of Sanity have released a new track titled “One Way Mirror”, accompanied by an official lyric visualizer. The release arrives just weeks before the band’s long-awaited comeback album “Reveries”.
Scheduled for November 6, “Reveries” will be the group’s first full-length album in ten years. The follow-up to 2016’s “Coexistence” marks a significant milestone for a band that has gradually returned to recording and performing after an extended period without a new studio album.
Breakdown Of Sanity announced “Reveries” in September and shared “Hibernate” as an early preview of the record. The latest song, “One Way Mirror”, offers another look at the group’s new material ahead of the November release.
After “Coexistence”, the band resumed activity through occasional new songs and live performances, but fans have been waiting for another full-length release. “Reveries” brings that extended gap to an end.
The album also arrives following a significant lineup change. Longtime vocalist Carlo Knöpfel announced his departure after 2024, and Kivi Brändle was introduced as the band’s new frontman in 2025. His arrival marked a new phase for the Swiss metalcore group.
The band’s established sound combines heavy guitar riffs, melodic passages and rhythmic breakdowns, while the latest material introduces the current lineup. “One Way Mirror” is another step toward the album’s release.
More information about “Reveries” can be found on Breakdown Of Sanity’s official website.
