Blaze Bayley had at least one Iron Maiden member attending his show at Eddfest

During Iron Maiden’s Eddfest weekend in the UK on Friday, July 10, Blaze Bayley, who led the band from 1994 to 1999, was the main act on the Maidenville stage, as per Blabbermouth. The concert was a part of the 50th anniversary commemoration of Iron Maiden, which is being held at the famous Knebworth location. Blaze and his band performed a potent set of songs from the albums “The X Factor” and “Virtual XI,” which he released while leading Iron Maiden. Steve Harris, the band’s founder, specifically curated Friday night’s Maidenville stage to highlight many aspects of Blaze’s musical career. Blaze and Harris co-wrote some of the songs on those albums.
As seen in a video (see below) by Stjepan Juras, an Maiden fan and author of several Maiden-related books who had been managing Paul Di’Anno and caring for Paul in the months preceding the former Maiden vocalist’s death, Harris watched Blaze‘s entire Eddfest set from the sidelines and then had a brief conversation with the singer.
