Beyond the Gates reveal full 2025 line-up, announce 11 new acts

Cult extreme metal festival Beyond the Gates are now revealing their full 2025 line-up. 11 new bands have been confirmed, including Opeth, Paradise Lost, Candlemass, Taake, Tribulation, Lucifer, Hexvessel, Misþyrming, Attic, Helheim and Gehenna.

With these names, the billing is complete and the festival presents their most varied line-up to date. 18 bands have never performed at the festival before. Furthermore, it is the first time in 19 years that King Diamond will perform in Norway!

On July 30 – August 2, Beyond the Gates will be held for the 13th time and will showcase why the festival has grown into the international metal gathering it has become. Attracting visitors from 50 different countries around the world, the extreme metal festival has become a global phenomenon. The festival takes place the city center of Bergen, using several venues spread across town, including the legendary Grieghallen and USF Verftet. Day tickets and regular festival passes are on sale now.
