Before The Dawn release acoustic album “Darkness Unplugged – Live at TBA Suvilahti”

“Darkness Unplugged – Live at TBA Suvilahti” is released today, 28 February 2025, via Stay Heavy Records. Recorded in 2021 with the classic line-up from 2005-2011 – Tuomas Saukkonen (guitar), Lars Eikind (vocals & bass) and Juho Räihä (guitar) – this unique album presents the iconic songs from Before The Dawn in a new interpretation.

A whole new era for BTD is beginning, and while we are bubbling over with excitement about all the plans for 2025, we don’t want to forget the history of the band. A new cycle begins as another closes, as we part ways with our long-time partners Stay Heavy Records (BTD label 2005 – 2024) and release in grand fashion a limited vinyl edition of our one-off unplugged stream show that aired in 2021 with our 2005-2011 line-up – Tuomas Saukkonen (guitar), Lars Eikind (vocals & bass) and Juho Räihä (guitar) – as part of SHR’s 20th anniversary celebration. In addition to the album release, Before The Dawn presents their second single “Deadsong” from the new acoustic set, accompanied by a new music video. The song embodies the dark melancholy and powerful energy that characterises the band and makes for a powerful visual and musical experience.
