Finnish metal powerhouses Battle Beast are back with “Last Goodbye”, a brand-new single and the first preview of their upcoming seventh studio album, set to arrive later this year.
Known for their dynamic blend of power and symphonic metal, the band continues their streak of chart-topping releases—having already notched up four consecutive #1 albums in Finland. With this latest track, they deliver a bold and emotional anthem that highlights both their musical evolution and their unwavering energy.
The song was inspired by a deeply personal experience from bassist Eero Sipilä. During a hospital stay in 2020, he met an older woman who had been battling cancer on and off since the mid-1980s. Her resilience and determination left a lasting impression on him, ultimately sparking the idea for “Last Goodbye”. The song pays tribute to the human spirit and the will to keep fighting, no matter how hard life hits.
To mark this exciting new chapter, Battle Beast are also hitting the road. Their upcoming European tour kicks off October 17th, 2025, with their biggest German headline show to date at Hamburg’s Inselpark Arena. The tour will span over a dozen countries and continue through mid-December, featuring special guests Dominum and rising Swedish metal act Majestica as the opening band.
