London-based indie rockers Balancing Act have announced their upcoming 2024 UK autumn tour. The trek kicks off on September 25 at Brighton’s The Prince Albert and concludes on November 16 in Leeds (Live At Leeds venue). Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 AM.

Balancing Act‘s new single “Laylow” was released on June 19. The Manchester-born quartet’s new EP, “Tightropes and Limericks”, is set for release on October 4. Pre-save it here.

Laylow” as a single and “Tightropes and Limericks” as an EP both mark the beginning of a new era for Balancing Act. The cut feels like the perfect way to introduce this new chapter of the band. Bright and reminiscent of summer, “Laylow” celebrates and welcomes all that is on the horizon for the outfit.

Commenting on the song, guitarist Jackson Couzen says: “This track was written on a writing trip we did to the French Alps. We were snowed into this little space and sharing rooms and sofas, we couldn’t really go anywhere so it was perfect for writing. We all found it funny that despite being surrounded by snow in below zero temperatures, the bulk of what we wrote was actually more sunny and upbeat, and this one was no exception.”
