Grammy-nominated Lancaster five-piece band August Burns Red are hitting the road again this fall to commemorate the tenth anniversary of their LP “Rescue & Restore”. The tour kicks off on November 10 at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusettes and wraps up with their Christmas Burns Red celebration on December 8 and December 9 in their native Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The trek will feature openers Brand of Sacrifice, Spite, and Crystal Lake.

“‘Rescue & Restore’ was a pivotal album for ABR,” the band shared in a statement. “It was the first album where we really started to experiment and explore different instruments and textures that we’d never used before. After 10 records and 20 years as a band, this album is still one of our proudest moments collectively. We are so grateful for the opportunity to play the entire record every night on tour and to showcase songs we’ve never performed live before. This tour is going to [be] special. We’ll see you in November and December!“.

August Burns Red‘s sixth studio album, “Rescue & Restore”, was released on 25 June 2013 via Solid State Records. The LP debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200 and number 2 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart. The Jake Luhrs-fronted quintet’s opus was driven by the lead single “Spirit Breaker“. Standout tracks included “Fault Line“, “Beauty in Tragedy” and “Provision”.

The Lancaster-born outfit released their latest album “Death Below” in March through Sharptone Records. It was the group’s first release with the label. The album features several special guest appearances from the likes of Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage), Jason Richardson (ex-Born of Osiris, ex-Chelsea Grin), JT Cavey (ERRA) and Spencer Chamberlain (Underoath).
