Atreyu shares a revamped version of “Her Portrait in Black”

Californian metalcore band Atreyu shares a revamped version of “Her Portrait in Black” as a digital single, complete with a remix by Sullivan King and Vastive. The track was originally recorded during the sessions of their 2006 album “A Death-Grip On Yesterday.” However, it never made the final record. Instead, the song landed on the “Underworld: Evolution”.

The digital release features three versions: the original track, a remix by Sullivan King and Vastive, and an instrumental. An official visualizer also arrived on YouTube shortly after the drop.

This release ties into a bigger anniversary push from the band. Craft Recordings will reissue “A Death-Grip On Yesterday” on vinyl on October 30, marking the album’s 20th anniversary. The reissue arrives on standard black vinyl plus two limited colorways: Fire Smoke through Craft Recordings and Blazing Yellow through Revolver. The album originally debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200.
