Atlas release haunting new single ‘I Whisper Your Name Like a Curse’

As the northern skies darken on 31st October, Atlas emerges from the frost to unveil their next haunting chapter. The Finnish northcore band will release their new single ‘I Whisper Your Name Like a Curse‘ – a ritual of grief, devotion, and spectral longing.

‘I Whisper Your Name Like a Curse‘ unfolds as a nocturnal prayer steeped in sorrow and transcendence. Shaping silence into something fragile, haunting, and unforgettable, the track moves with a slow, heavy pulse and shadowed atmosphere. It embodies the weight of mourning while remaining deeply intimate — a spectral metalcore ballad that turns despair into catharsis.

Guitarist Tuomas Kurikka reflects on the song’s eerie origin:
“As cryptic as it sounds, this song came into being after receiving a message from the dead. That moment crystallised the essence of the entire meaning of the song — love conquers death.”
