At The Gates release new single “The Dissonant Void”

Swedish melodic death metal band At The Gates has dropped a new single “The Dissonant Void” from their upcoming eighth studio album “The Ghost of a Future Dead”. The album will be released on April 24, 2026.

The record serves as the follow-up to 2021’s “The Nightmare of Being” and stands as a tribute to frontman Tomas Lindberg, who passed away in September 2025. The surviving members, guitarists Anders Björler and Martin Larsson, bassist Jonas Björler, and drummer Adrian Erlandsson, confirmed the album fulfills all of Lindberg’s wishes, including the title, track order, mix, and artwork.

“The Ghost of a Future Dead” arrives via Century Media Records on April 24, 2026. Jens Bogren recorded and mixed it at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden, and Robert Samsonowitz created the cover artwork.
