As I Lay Dying is scheduled to return to Russia in 2026, as reported by theprp. The metalcore band, led by the controversial Tim Lambesis, initiated the European tour commemorating the 20th anniversary of “Shadows Are Security” with performances in Russia this autumn. The possibility of Western artists touring Russia is currently met with considerable disapproval due to the strained diplomatic relations stemming from Russia’s 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the ongoing conflict.
In a recent social media post dated December 9th, As I Lay Dying announced that, following three successful performances in Russia this October, they will revisit the country in 2026 for a comprehensive series of concerts. This tour will include numerous arena performances in celebration of the album “Shadows Are Security.”
After 3 sold out shows, we have been invited back to Russia for an arena tour. See you all in March!

Global metal titans As I Lay Dying kicked off their second decade together with “Awakened”, the sixth release of a stunning career. Seething with metallic vitriol, overflowing with energy, and rich with the kind of melody that irrevocably implants itself in the listener’s mind, it is the sound of a band pushing themselves to outdo everything that has come before, be it their own previous work, or that of their contemporaries, and daring all to do better. Lyrically speaking, “Awakened” saw Lambesis move away from the outward themes of The Powerless Rise, in favor of a more introspective approach.
