UK rockers Arctic Monkeys have announced a series of arena gigs in Ireland later this year, promoting their seven studio album, “The Car”. Just two months after cancelling a highly anticipated show at Marlay Park, Alex Turner and Co. have added three concerts in Dublin and one in Belfast.

The Sheffield outfit will play three headline shows at Dublin’s 3Arena on October 15, 17 and 19. They’ll also take to the stage at the SSE Arena in Belfast on October 16. Miles Kane, a member of Turner’s English pop supergroup The Last Shadow Puppets, will warm up the stage.

After frontman Alex Turner came down with acute laryngitis, The Monkeys were forced to cancel a show at Marlay Park in Dublin earlier this summer.

Regarding ticket release dates, the band states: “Previous ticket holders will be sent a unique access code and will be given 72-hour priority pre-sale access starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 25 to purchase tickets.” The remaining tickets will go on general sale on August 29 at 9 a.m. local time.
