July 18, 2021 marked the 40th anniversary of the formation of thrash metal pioneers Anthrax.

The celebrations began in May last year and culminated in a worldwide livestream event in mid-July that year, filmed at The Den sound studio in Los Angeles. For over two hours, Anthrax performed an extensive set of hits and rarely heard cuts from their extensive catalog.

Now Anthrax announce that the entire concert, along with never-before-seen rehearsal footage and Scott Ian’s “walking tour” of New York, in which he showcases the places that played a role in Anthrax’s formation and history, will be released digitally in Europe on July 15th via Nuclear Blast. The recording will also be released on Blu-ray on 22 July.
