Dethklok, Castle Rat and Amon Amarth are scheduled to co-headline a North American tour in the spring of 2026, as per theprp. The tour will feature the live incarnation of the animated metal band alongside the Swedish melodic death metallers during April and May. Medieval doom metal band Castle Rat will serve as the opening act for the tour. The tour has been named ‘The Amonlok Conquest,’ coinciding with the release of a new album from Amon Amarth and the 20th anniversary of the ‘Metalocalypse’ series that inspired Dethklok. A pre-sale for Citi cardholders will begin on Tuesday, December 9th at 10:00 am local time. Additional presale opportunities are planned prior to the general ticket sale, which will commence on Friday, December 12th at 10:00 am local time.

We are celebrating our 20th anniversary, and what better way to do it, with Amon Amarth and Castle Rat, who embody theatrical heavy metal. We’re going to entertain you as hard as we possibly can with the power of heavy metal in many kinds of ways, and many different iterations — from Viking battleships to Castle Rat to Dethklok with our music and fast-paced, insane animation.
