Alcatraz 2024 confirms first 50 acts

Belgium’s Alcatraz festival has confirmed the first 50 attractions for 2024, which will feature four stages with recurring themes, resulting in a universal line-up across all genre boundaries. Tickets are already available here.

The organisers have released a statement:

As festival organisers, our goal is not to keep expanding. True to the basic principles we’ve held dear from the outset, our ambition is always to assemble a mind-blowing and varied line-up with a strong emphasis on the overall Alcatraz experience. Also, we are not afraid to be self-critical. For this past edition we revised the stage times and tweaked the ECO coin system. Communication is a two-way street and any issues that are brought to our attention will be dealt with as efficiently as possible. Rest assured that the comfort of our revellers remains our number one priority.

The lineup for 2024 includes:

Architects, Amon Amarth, Opeth, Clutch, Cradle Of Filth, Hatebreed, Satytricon, Mayhem, Paradise Lost, Exodus, Watain, Dark Tranquility, Jinjer, Spiritbox, Korpiklaani, Dokken, Feuerchwanz, Marduk, Lord Of The Lost, Life Of Agony, The Night Flight Orchestra, Soil, Benediction, Green Lung, Audrey Horne and many others.
