Hardcore outfit Age Of Apocalypse, hailing from New York’s Hudson Valley, is back with a vengeance on their latest single “Impulse”. The track offers a blistering first taste of the band’s upcoming album “In Oblivion”, due out May 23rd via Closed Casket Activities.
Clocking in at just two minutes, “Impulse” hits like a freight train. The raw vocal trade-off between Age Of Apocalypse frontman Dylan Kaplowitz and guest vocalist Graham Sayle of UK hardcore-punks High Vis is nothing short of electric. Together, they unleash a torrent of fury that’s both emotionally charged and politically pointed.
Lyrically, the track dives into themes of empathy while also taking a firm stand against police brutality—making its message as hard-hitting as its sound.
