The music world has been shaken recently by the horrors of the Astroworld event, created by rapper Travis Scott. During Scott’s concert, the flood of fans became so intense that nine people in the audience were crushed to death and several were injured.

After the event, the metal world commented on concert etiquette and safety. Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, among others, commented on the events, while Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe shared safety tips on social media.

Megastar rapper Drake has been criticised for his own actions. Consequence Of Sound reported that Drake, who had just released his new album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ and was also performing at Astroworld, had headed to a strip club the day after the event. There, Drake spent a million dollars to keep the party going.

Drake was seen as a guest during Travis Scott’s deadly performance. The rapper later took to social media to address the tragedy:

“I’ve spent the past few days trying to wrap my mind around this devastating tragedy. I hate resorting to this platform to express an emotion as delicate as grief but this is where I find myself. My heart is broken for the families and friends of those who lost their lives and for anyone who is suffering. I will continue to pray for all of them, and will be of service in any way I can. May God be with you all.”
