Swedish metalcore outfit Adept is making a long-awaited comeback with their first new music in nearly a decade. The band has announced that their new single, “Heaven”, will drop on Monday, May 12th.

Formed in 2004 in Trosa, Sweden, Adept quickly made a name for themselves in the post-hardcore and metalcore scene, releasing a string of acclaimed records. Their discography includes three EPs and four studio albums: “Another Year of Disaster” (2009), “Death Dealers” (2011), “Silence the World” (2013), and “Sleepless” (2016).

In 2019, the band officially called it quits, much to the disappointment of fans. But to everyone’s surprise and excitement, they reunited in November 2024 to celebrate their 20th anniversary with a special performance at Corefest in Stuttgart, Germany.
