Recently reports were made that Till Lindemann, the front man of Rammstein, was arrested in Russia. According to the original information, which was widely reported in the media, Mr Lindemann was arrested for his failure to comply with COVID restraints at his gigs.

However, Deutsche Welle has published a report based on information from the Russian news agency Interfax and the German newspaper Bild. According to the reports, Mr Lindemann was not officially arrested, but was merely brought in by the police for questioning, where he was warned of the consequences of breaking the rules.

According to Deutsche Welle, Lindemann’s manager Anar Reibandi is also accused of violating immigration law, as Mr Reibandi claimed he was only in the country as a tourist, not for work.
