US black metal band Abigail Williams are set to release their sixth full-length album “A Void Within Existence” on July 18th via Agonia Records. As usual, the album was produced by the band’s frontman Ken Sorceron and mixed by Dave Otero (Aborted, Cattle Decapitation).

Sorceron says of the album’s creation and background that it’s a very personal and sombre whole. The album was born in quiet moments when everything felt hollow and meaningless. Sorceron describes the themes through loneliness and inner disintegration – both with the outside world and the collapse of his own mind.

The album’s visuals are as striking as its content – the cover art is by the acclaimed Eliran Kantor (Testament, Bloodbath), whose art reflects the album’s inner emptiness and mythic dimension.

The band’s line-up has been renewed and is now stabilised as a four-piece. Sorceron (ex-Aborted, ex-The Faceless, Vale Of Pnath, Nachtmystium) continues on vocals and guitar, and is joined by guitarist Vance Valenzuela (Vale Of Pnath), bassist John Porada (ex-Nachtmystium, ex-Wolvhammer) and drummer Mike Heller (ex-Fear Factory, Malignancy), who replaces former long-time drummer Gabe Seeber.
