A tale of two eras: Three Days Grace and Badflower ignite a new chapter at O2 Academy Brixton

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Three Days Grace played the last show of their UK tour at the O2 Academy Brixton. It was indeed a historic moment in rock history that changed their legacy forever. The night was a huge homecoming for original singer Adam Gontier. He recently rejoined the band and is now sharing lead singer duties with Matt Walst. The quintet showed off their dual-vocalist era by playing a mix of classic hits such as “I Hate Everything About You“. Also, other powerful new songs from their August 2025 album, “Alienation”. The band demonstrated that they had found an energetic, renewed synergy that resonated through the sold-out venue, following the release of their chart-topping singles “Apologies” and “Mayday” in 2025.

Before the main act, Los Angeles rock band Badflower played a raw and honest set that cemented their reputation as the most unflinching voices in modern rock. The four of them got a lot of energy from their June 2025 album, “No Place Like Home”. They opened their 10-song set with the high-energy song “Drop Dead.” After that, the London audience got to hear “Family,” which was very emotional and “Ghost“, which was hauntingly relatable. “Number 1“, a biting new industry-critique song, kept the crowd going. Josh Katz’s signature vulnerability was on full display. Bridging the gap between his polished studio work and the jagged, melodic intensity that has made Badflower a staple in the alternative scene.
