The Italian luxury fashion business brand Gucci has published a short film with Slipknot‘s(sic)“, as per theprp. The video below, which was directed by Jonathan Glazer of “The Zone Of Interest” and “Sexy Beast,” has been released online as part of Gucci’s pre-fall marketing push. It features a small clip of that fan favourite from the group’s 1999 self-titled first album.

Percussionist Shawn Crahan, singer Anders Colsefni, and bassist Paul Grey founded the American heavy metal group Slipknot in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995. The band settled on nine members for almost ten years after a number of lineup changes in its early years: Crahan, Grey, Joey Jordison, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. Slipknot is well-known for their eye-catching appearance, combative musical style, and exuberant, wild live performances. The band’s first demo record, “Mate. Kill. Feed. Repeat.” was a failure, but once their first self-titled studio album, “Slipknot”, was released in 1999, they quickly became well-known. Despite having a darker and more violent tone, the band’s 2001 follow-up studio album, “Iowa”, increased their popularity.

Before taking another break and making a comeback in 2008 with their fourth studio album, “All Hope Is Gone”, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, Slipknot made a comeback in 2004 with “Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)”. 2014 saw the release of Slipknot’s fifth studio album, “.5: The Grey Chapter”, following yet another protracted break. August 9, 2019 saw the release of “We Are Not Your Kind”, their sixth studio album. On September 30, 2022, their seventh studio album, “The End, So Far”, was made available. The group has put out five live DVDs, a compilation CD called “Antennas to Hell,” and two live albums called “9.0: Live” and “Day of the Gusano: Live in Mexico.” The group has sold 12 records in the United States and 30 million internationally.
