Ozzy Osbourne will be honored at the live program aired on Sunday night (February 1st), according to the organizers of the 2026 Grammy ceremony, which is almost approaching, as per Loudwire. A star-studded gathering has been invited to honor Osbourne, according to the organizers. Post Malone, Duff McKagan, Slash, Chad Smith, and Andrew Watt will all be performing. Although it’s unclear what they’ll be doing, each of the performers has prior connections to Osbourne, so their attendance should be one of the evening’s highlights. The supporting rhythm section for Osbourne‘s final two studio albums was produced by Andrew Watt, who also used McKagan and Smith.
The tracks “Take What You Want” and “It’s a Raid” from Osbourne‘s “Ordinary Man” album included Post Malone as a guest. Slash, on the other hand, had previously appeared on “Ordinary Man” and performed on Ozzy‘s “No Rest for the Wicked” sessions. Osbourne won five Grammy Awards out of his 12 nominations during the span of his career. Only a few weeks after giving his last performance at the Back to the Beginning farewell event, the renowned two-time inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame passed away in July of last year. On Sunday, February 1, at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT, the 2026 Grammy Awards will be held in the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Both CBS and Paramount Plus will broadcast the ceremony.
