The remastered limited-edition deluxe box set of Metallica’s quadruple-platinum seventh studio album “ReLoad” gets unboxed by former bassist Jason Newsted in the video below, as per Blabbermouth. The record will be released on June 26 through Metallica’s own Blackened Recordings. Instant-grat versions of “The Memory Remains,” comprising the remastered original recording, “Instrumental Mix, Take 18 Floor Take,” and “Live In Brisbane,” will be sent to pre-orders of the deluxe box.

Standard 180g 2LP, Wal-Mart-only colour 140g 2LP, CD, 3CD expanded edition, cassette, and digital (containing a Spatial Audio mix employing Atmos) are the formats in which “ReLoad (Remastered)” is offered. “The Memory Remains (Remastered)” instant grat is available for pre-order and pre-save in every configuration. The video “The Memory Remains (Live in Philadelphia)” is also now available. The “ReLoad” restored limited-edition deluxe box set is a meticulously and passionately collected record of Metallica from the 1997–1998 era. It is jam-packed with unreleased demos, rough mixes, live performances, on-air and television appearances, and much more. The restored “ReLoad” album on 180g double vinyl, “The Memory Remains” on 7″, and “Live At Ministry Of Sound ’97” on 140g triple vinyl are all included in this one-time numbered pressing.

The set’s four DVDs feature a plethora of behind-the-scenes, in-studio and live footage, on-air and television appearances, the band’s pop-up performance at the CoreStates Complex Parking Lot in Philadelphia, visits to Seoul, and more. Its fifteen CDs include the remastered “ReLoad” album, never-before-released collections of riffs, demos and rough mixes, B-Sides and rarities, and a wealth of live material. Memorabilia such as a pack of 13 Rorschach Test cards, an 11×17 Gimme Fuel poster, a sticker, a Pushead print, a 10-pack of guitar/bass picks, lyric sheets, three laminated tour passes, and a deluxe 128-page book with never-before-seen photos and testimonies from attendees complete the contents of the box.
