A mother in New Zealand named her children Metallica, Slayer and Pantera

Sometimes parents name their children with unusual names. There are many cases around the world where a newborn baby has been named after a fictional character or a famous celebrity, and sometimes the name is just something so obscure or weird that you would not think of it yourself.

Now a New Zealand mother has decided to name her three children after some famous metal bands. The children got their names after the metal giants Metallica, Pantera and Slayer.

The story was originally reported by filmmaker and metal fan David Farrier. According to him, the children’s mother had told him that “it’s not easy to raise the three heaviest bands”.

Farrier himself was initially sceptical after seeing the birth certificate of the Metallica child, which states that his middle name is “And Justice For All” after the band’s classic album. However, after checking with the New Zealand authorities, there is nothing illegal about it.
