A drone hits Garrett Russell of Silent Planet on stage

Garrett Russell, the singer of Silent Planet, posted video of himself getting struck in the head by a drone during the “Summer Punch” festival in Warsaw, Poland, this past Thursday, June 18, as per theprp. As you can see in the video below, Russell struggled to free the drone after it got tangled in his hair. When Russell finally managed to free the drone from his hair, he flung it out into the audience and crushed it onstage, leaving a wad of his hair lodged in its propellers. Silent Planet, a politically conscious band, will play two gigs in Ukraine this week, making them one of the first Western musicians to do so since Russia invaded the nation in 2022.
