George Harrison, who played in the legendary The Beatles, died on 29 November 2001. Harrison, who was working on a solo career after The Beatles, died of cancer at the age of 58.
Now Harrison’s former bandmates, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, have paid tribute to their late bandmate on social media.
“Hard to believe that we lost George 20 years ago. I miss my friend so much. Love Paul”, McCartney writes.
Ringo Starr wrote the following on his social media:
“Peace and love to you George I miss you man. Peace and love Ringo.”
The Disney Plus streaming service is currently showing a documentary directed by Peter Jackson about the process of making the album “Let It Be”. Jackson says that the documentary debunks the myth that the band members didn’t get along during the last album.
