Yungblud responds in the middle of the controversy about his photo with Till Lindemann

Author Benedetta Baldin - 25.1.2026

YUNGBLUD, a rising alternative rock/rap artist, has addressed the criticism he received recently for hanging out with Till Lindemann of Rammstein, as per theprp. YUNGBLUD received a lot of negative feedback after posting a picture of the meeting in Perth, Australia, on social media last week. In 2023, Lindemann and other members of German industrial metal legends were accused of sexual misconduct and other offenses related to the “Row 0” backstage parties he was allegedly throwing during the band’s live performances. This led to Lindemann becoming an intrinsically divisive figure.

Lindemann went on to legally defend himself against the allegations, suing a newspaper that published an exposé on the subject that he contested, while German prosecutors subsequently abandoned their investigation into the case. YUNGBLUD recently provided the following information on the situation in an audio update posted on his social media.

I had absolutely no idea — obviously at the minute I’m meeting a lot of people every day without knowing fully who they are or what they’re about. And I can assure you, if I knew about any allegations, it would have been a completely different story. You all know what I stand for, always. I’ll be more for it in the future. I love you all.
