In a 13-minute video, Korn drummer Ray Luzier discusses his Lose Yer Ear home studio in Franklin, Tennessee, with studio designer Sean Neff, proprietor of Space Crafters Designs, as blabbermouth.net reports. Before relocating to Los Angeles in 1988 to pursue a career in music, Luzier was raised close outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ray moved to Franklin, Tennessee, ten years ago with his wife Aspen Brandy Lea and their two sons, Hudson Ray and Beck Jagger. Before relocating to Nashville, Ray spent sixteen years living in Los Angeles.

Korn is going back to basics for their next album, currently in the works. During Download Festival in the UK, guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer revealed that the band is recording the entire album on tape — live in the studio, all together in one room. The goal is to capture the raw energy and chemistry that defined their early records, embracing a more hands-on, analog process.
