Greek black metal act Yoth Iria have announced their third studio album “Gone With The Devil”. The record will arrive May 8 through Metal Blade Records. At the same time, the band has released a video for the lead single “The Blind Eye Of Antichrist”.

The upcoming album follows the band’s 2021 debut “As The Flame Withers” and the 2024 release “Blazing Inferno”. According to the band, they entered the studio with a clear goal for the new material.

The band also explained that the lyrics of “The Blind Eye Of Antichrist” focus on personal transformation. The idea centers on self discipline, inner strength, and personal growth as forces that can reshape both the individual and the surrounding world.

Yoth Iria traces its roots to bassist and lyricist Jim Mutilator. He previously helped found Rotting Christ and also played a key role in the early years of Varathron. Because of that background, the band maintains a direct connection to the origins of the Hellenic black metal scene.
