Florida extreme metal cult Worm have signed with Century Media Records and confirmed that their new album “Necropalace” will drop on February 13. The move marks another step in their rise, and it gives the band room to push their mix of black, doom, and gothic darkness even further. The title track arrived with a horror-styled video, and it hints at a record shaped by eerie atmosphere and sharp songwriting.
The album was produced by Charlie Koryn (Ascended Dead, Morbid Angel, Incantation) and then mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Kreator, Cavalera Conspiracy, Soulfly). It also includes a guest appearance from Marty Friedman on the closing track, which adds a high-voltage edge to the album’s final moments. Fans will likely appreciate how the band blend new ideas with the gloomy aesthetic they are known for.
Vocalist Phantom Slaughter offered a dramatic introduction to the record and invited listeners into the twisted world behind “Necropalace”. His words leaned into fantasy and classic horror, which fits their cinematic direction. With a new label behind them and a clear creative vision, Worm look set for a strong release cycle. Pre-orders for “Necropalace” are available now, and the countdown to February has begun.
