US extreme metal outfit Worm has released a new single titled “Witchmoon: The Infernal Masquerade”, which features a guest guitar appearance from Marty Friedman. The track serves as the closing piece on the band’s upcoming album “Necropalace”, set for release on February 13, 2026 via Century Media Records.

Following earlier singles from the record, the new track pushes blackened death and doom sound further into cinematic territory. This time, Friedman’s instantly recognizable lead work adds a sharp melodic edge to the band’s dense and murky atmosphere. As a result, the collaboration feels unexpected but natural within the song’s dramatic structure.

While the Worm has remained rooted in grim and suffocating tones, “Witchmoon: The Infernal Masquerade” highlights a broader approach to arrangement and texture. The song unfolds slowly and deliberately, and it builds tension before giving space to Friedman’s expressive playing. Because of this, the track stands out as one of the album’s most dynamic moments.

“Necropalace” will be Worm’s first full-length release on Century Media Records, and it marks a clear step forward in both scope and confidence. With this final single now out, the album’s full picture is beginning to take shape ahead of its February release.
