Wisdom In Chains unleash anthemic new track “Mindset” ahead of split EP

Pennsylvania hardcore mainstays Wisdom In Chains have debuted “Mindset”, the latest single from their upcoming split EP with Florida metalcore outfit Evergreen Terrace. The track arrives just over a month before the split drops on August 29th via Dead Serious Recordings. This marks the second release previewing the EP, following earlier singles “The Gospel” and “Restless Leg Syndrome”.

The new song introduces vocalist Frankie Puopolo—formerly of Death Before Dishonor—who stepped into the role last summer after Mad Joe Black’s departure. “Mindset” showcases a classic hardcore structure: short, punchy, and driven by positive themes focused on self-reliance and confidence. Fans get a preview of the band’s evolving sound under Puopolo’s energetic vocals.

The band recorded “Mindset” during sessions at Rock Hard Studios in Stroudsburg, before sending it to Germany’s Kristen Kohle for re‑amping, mixing, and mastering. The band plans to include this track, along with previously released songs, on their next full-length album, currently in the works.
