Will Rush ever perform at The Sphere?

Rush is in negotiations to perform at the Sphere in Las Vegas, according to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre section, as per Blabbermouth. According to reports, the Canadian rock icons have been in talks with Sphere executives “for a while” and a deal may be finalised in the upcoming weeks. The Sun was informed of this by a source.

Rush has an enormous audience across North America. Even though they are Canadian, their music and success has been huge in the U.S. Their hits, history and live performances make them an attractive proposition. Talks have been secretly going for now for a while, but the word is that contracts could be locked down in the next couple of weeks.

Long-time rock radio host Eddie Trunk stated on his SiriusXM show a few days ago that a Sphere residency for Rush was a “done deal” and that it would include 16 to 18 shows next year, according to Rush fan site “Rush Is A Band”. Since it opened in September 2023, the 17,600-seat Las Vegas Sphere has revolutionised live entertainment.
