Megadeth‘s seventeenth studio album’s protracted writing and recording sessions seem to be nearing to a close. In a post published on June 10, Dave Mustaine, the band’s guitarist and singer, disclosed that he has started recording vocals for the project, which will ultimately be released through Tradecraft/BLKIIBLK. This past November, the legendary thrash metal band began recording their new album, with producer Chris Rakestraw (Danzig, Parkway Drive) once again behind the decks. When recording an album, the instruments are often set up and locked in first, followed by vocal tracking to wrap up the sessions. The band will be releasing their first album since hiring guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari in 2023.
