Boy oh boy is next year looking hotter than hell, if I may quote Reckless Love on this. As reported from theprp, the news that emo rock kings My Chemical Romance will be the main act at next year’s “Welcome To Rockville,” “Sonic Temple,” and “Louder Than Life” festivals was initially shared with attendees of “Louder Than Life” event in Louisville, Kentucky, via a video package and a local marching band. Similar to their current tour, the New Jersey band will be commemorating their fourth platinum-selling studio album, “The Black Parade,” from 2006 when they take the stage at those festivals supported by Danny Wimmer Presents. The Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, will host the “Welcome To Rockville” event the following year from May 7–10. The Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio will host the 2026 “Sonic Temple” festival from May 14–17. The “Louder Than Life” festival’s dates for the next year are still to be determined. Below is video of the announcement that was made from the “Louder Than Life” festival stage today. The band’s 2026 “Long Live The Black Parade Tour” has already been hinted at with additional probable stops this week.
