“We would love to tour with Sabaton or Nightwish” – Interview with Zaher and Kevin from Myrath

Tunisian prog metallers Myrath visited Finland for the first time during the “Awaken the World” tour supporting Kamelot in late march, playing three shows in Helsinki, Tampere and Oulu. Chaoszine sat down with Zaher Zorgati (vocals) and Kevin Codfert (keyboards, also producer of the band) before their successful debut on Finnish ground. They discuss their situation as a Tunisian band touring around the world in the current situation, how they’ve had to adapt to the increasing costs of life on the road and how they’ve had to deal with bureaucracy and prejudice over the years. The also shared their dreams for the future and give a few updates on the musical direction of their upcoming album, to be released next autumn via earMusic.
