“We see these chapter-titles as chapters in band`s history, but we don`t rule out the possibility that someday the concept can be changed” – interview with Melissa Bonny from Ad Infinitum

Author Julia Suloinen - 27.3.2023

Swiss/German modern-symphonic-metal band Ad Infinitum has been one of the fastest rising stars on the contemporary metal scene within the last couple of years. Having started their creative journey in the pandemic year 2020, the band so far has released two studio albums(plus one being the acoustic reinterpretation) and now, when tours are finally back, Ad Infinitum definitely has something to chose from for their setlist. And, you know, these hard-workers don`t even plan to stop as their third studio (and metal) album, “Chapter III: Downfall”, is in the doorway, and will be released on the 31st of March via Napalm Records.

Chaoszine had a chat with Ad Infinitum‘s founder, front-woman and lyricist, Melissa Bonny, to find out who was the main inspiration for the history-based album this time, and also to learn about this whole “chapter” concept, Melissa`s dancing background and her biggest goal as a musician.
