Corey Taylor, the frontman of Slipknot and Stone Sour, joined the American rockers Night Ranger on stage during the band’s performance at Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin. The musicians performed the veterans’ 1982 single Don’t Tell Me You Love Me, and you can see the video footage below.
The band’s singer and bassist Jack Blades told Ultimate Classic Rock that the collaboration happened in a very organic way:
” Brad Gillis and I had met him a few years ago, with Eddie Trunk on That Metal Show. We were excited to share the stage with him at Rock Fest, and I asked him if he wanted to sing the second verse of Don’t Tell Me You Love Me and if he knew the words. He said – ‘Hell yeah,’ and out he came and killed it! We are happy to call him our friend. “
