Vomitory share “Wrath Unbound” single ahead of “In Death Throes” release

The Swedish death metal veterans Vomitory have unveiled a new single and video for “Wrath Unbound,” the second track lifted from their forthcoming tenth studio album “In Death Throes.” The record will be released on April 10, 2026 through Metal Blade Records.

Drummer Tobias Gustafsson describes “Wrath Unbound” as probably the heaviest track on the album. He notes that dark powers inspired the song, and that Iron Maiden, Bolt Thrower, and Carcass served as musical references. He adds that double bass drums and a catchy melody define the track’s character.

Gustafsson says the new record picks up where its predecessor left off and pushes intensity further. Fredriksson brings some added variety without shifting the band away from their established direction.

The band recorded the album across multiple studios in Karlstad and Uppsala, Sweden in late 2025. Producer Rikard Löfgren handled drums and vocals at Leon Music Studios. Fredriksson engineered guitars and bass at Goff Studios. Lawrence Mackrory mixed and mastered the record at Rorysound Studios in Uppsala. His previous credits include Paradise Lost, Bloodbath, and Lik.

Previously, Vomitory released the album’s first single “For Gore And Country.” Both tracks now stream on the usual platforms. Pre-orders for “In Death Throes” on CD, digital, and multiple vinyl variants are available now.

Vomitory will tour Europe and the UK with Hypocrisy, Abbath, and Vreid in April and May 2026.
