Volumes’ new album “Mirror Touch” to be released on December 12th

It was just a matter of time until Volumes released a new song after hiring Myke Terry to front the group earlier this year. Even if Terry acknowledged that the new record was finished in June, it still seems incredibly quick. Volumes just revealed this week that they will be putting out a brand-new album called “Mirror Touch” through Fearless Records, as reported by MetalInjection. Not even two weeks before Christmas, on December 12th, the 10-track album will be made available. The band, which consists of Myke Terry on vocals, Michael Barr on vocals, Raad Soudani on bass, and Nick Ursch on drums, immediately made an impression once Terry was revealed as the new vocalist in March.

About the new single “S.O.A.P.“, the band stated it’s “pure and impure indulgence. Good versus evil. Playing with fire or magic — the lines are blurred here. We self-nurture habits that are deemed immoral, although who is the person making that decisions for us?

15 years into their career, Volumes have weathered ups, downs, time, trends, and everything else life could throw at them only to come out stronger on the other side. Against all odds, a devout audience has ridden shotgun and grown with them every step of the way. This symbiotic relationship speaks to the band’s quiet impact with over 167 million streams in the United States alone, widespread acclaim, and sold-out shows. They loudly carved out their own corner of heavy music with an inimitable hybrid of head-crushing polyrhythmic prog-spiked metal, hardcore spirit, and unbridled attitude. The group shared stages on tour with everyone from Ice Nine Kills and Born of Osiris to Dance Gavin Dance and Counterparts
