Void Sector Zero unleash twisted new single “Extraterrestrial Disassembly”

American progressive death metal supergroup Void Sector Zero have released the second single “Extraterrestrial Disassembly” from their upcoming debut album “Dead Space Enigma.” The track follows the first single “Vortex Divinium” and features guest vocals from Morean (Alkaloid, ex-Dark Fortress).

The group comprises of guitarist Christian Muenzner (Necrophagist, ex-Obscura, ex-Alkaloid), drummer Gabe Seeber (Decrepit Birth, Abigail Williams, Carach Angren), and bassist Alex Weber (Revocation, Malignancy, Exist). Together, they put a cosmic horror twist on progressive technical thrash metal.

“‘Extraterrestrial Disassembly’ is about a DMT trip gone horribly wrong,” Muenzner says. “Even though it’s the shortest song on ‘Dead Space Enigma,’ it has lots of odd metric riffs, proggy riffs, a clean chorus and nods to hard rock and classic metal bands, specifically Coroner, Mercyful Fate, Annihilator, Helstar and Holy Moses.”

“Dead Space Enigma” arrives December 11, 2026 through Season of Mist. Pre-orders are available now.
