On August 1st, Vince Neil, the frontman for Mötley Crüe, made his stage comeback for the first time since September of last year. Due to Neil’s need for an unannounced medical treatment, the glam metal star and his previously mentioned multi-platinum band have been forced to postpone their 2025 tour thus far. Mötley Crüe had to postpone their April residency in Las Vegas, Nevada, and their May appearance at the “Boardwalk Rock” festival in Ocean City, Maryland, due to the treatment and the recovery period that followed. Neil talked about his time off the stage at the MGM Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts, although he did not go into depth about the severity of his health issues.

Hey, thank you, everybody. It’s good to be here. I haven’t been on stage since almost a year now. I had a medical thing that happened to me, and they said I wouldn’t be back on stage here. I said, ‘Fuck that, man.’ And I’m back and I’m with you guys tonight. And I’m really proud to be here, man. Thank you so much.
