The only surviving original member of Malevolent Creation, which was founded in Buffalo, New York, in 1986 before moving to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is Fasciana. Century Media published “The 13th Beast,” the most recent album by Malevolent Creation, in January 2019. Vocalist/guitarist Lee Wollenschlaeger and drummer Phil Cancilla were featured on the band’s only disc. After battling stage 4 colon cancer, former frontman of Malevolent Creation Bret Hoffmann passed away in July 2018. He was only fifty-one. Before leaving Malevolent Creation following the release of the “Stillborn” album in 1993, Bret played on the band’s first three albums. He made a comeback five years later, performing on “The Fine Art Of Murder” and “Envenomed” before departing once more and being replaced by Kyle Symons. He returned to the band in 2006 and made appearances on three more albums: “Doomsday X” (2007), “Invidious Dominion” (2010), and “Dead Man’s Path” (2015). In 2016, he left the organization once more, and Wollenschlaeger took his place.
