As part of his “Kirk Hammett The Collection: Live” book tour, legendary guitarist Kirk Hammett of the multi-platinum-selling and nine-time Grammy Award-winning band Metallica spoke with music journalist Sean Sennett at Sydney, Australia’s State Library on November 14, 2025, as per Blabbermouth. The private, live conversation celebrated the release of Kirk’s coffee table book “The Collection: Kirk Hammett” and delved deeply into his illustrious musical career. Kirk posted a video of the full ninety-minute event on his own YouTube account on Thursday, April 2.

I am thrilled to share ‘Kirk Hammett The Collection: LIVE’ in Sydney, Australia November 14, 2025 at the State Library of New South Wales. In 2025, during [METALLICA’s] ‘M72’ tour, I took the book LIVE in seven cities to share and discuss the rich history and artistry behind each of these unique and rare instruments.
