Video footage available of “Jihad” live by The Kovenant

During a few live appearances, The Kovenant returned to the stage this year. With a lineup that included all of the original members back in action, including guitarist Jamie “Astennu” Stinson, drummer Jan Axel “Hellhammer” Blomberg, keyboardist Steinar Sverd Johnsen, vocalist/bassist Stian “Nagash” Arnesen, female singer Sarah Jezebel Deva, and drummer Jan Axel Blomberg, the band, which won a Norwegian Grammy equivalent, called Spellemannsprisen, in 1999 in the category of “Best Hard Rock Album” for the “Nexus Polaris” LP, performed that effort in its entirety at both events. “Nexus Polaris” and “Animatronic” were among the band’s songs, and The Kovenant’s debut album “In Times Before The Light” featured some of their other favorites.
