The complete August 16th Alice Cooper show at Costa Mesa, California’s Pacific Amphitheatre, which was a part of Orange County Fair’s Pacific Amphitheatre concert series, is available on Live Rock Music Concerts. Look it over below.
Cooper invented a grandly theatrical, shock-oriented style of hard rock. With equal inspiration from vaudeville, garage rock, and horror films, the ensemble put on a theatrical production complete with electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood, and boa constrictors. He is still on a regular tour, taking his dark and horror-themed theatrics to audiences all over the world.
Reigning triumphant from the release of his most recent album “Road,” which delves into the excitement and antics of touring, Alice is joined, as always, by his seasoned live band consisting of Ryan Roxie on guitar, Chuck Garric on bass, Tommy Henriksen on guitar, Glen Sobel on drums, and Nita Strauss on guitar. Cooper entertains both new and old fans with his unique brand of rock psycho-drama, and both the audience and he loves it. His schedule has included six months of touring every year. Often referred to as the “architect of shock-rock,” Cooper has shaken the cages and challenged the authority of successive generations of status quo defenders, shocking audiences and emanating danger at every turn.
Nothing in Cooper‘s extraordinary career has gone unnoticed, as he has garnered numerous accolades and career achievement awards, sold-out tours, platinum records, and recognition for his impact on rock & roll and popular culture.
