Video footage and setlist available for Neurosis’ set at Fire In The Mountains

Last night, July 25, Neurosis returned to the stage for their first performance since 2019, as per theprp. That year, the groundbreaking post-metal group took a break after it was revealed that their singer/guitarist Scott Kelly had abused his family. In reaction, the band openly denounced him and broke up their relationship with him. The band then went silent until earlier this year. “An Undying Love For A Burning World,” their first new album since 2016, was unexpectedly released this past March. Aaron Turner (SUMAC, ex-Isis, etc.) was added as a new vocalist and guitarist for that record. The band performed a comeback gig yesterday at Blackfeet Nation, Montana’s annual “Fire In The Mountains” festival.

Naturally, it was also their first live performance since welcoming Turner. The following setlist was reportedly played, and fan-filmed video from that performance has been posted online below.
