This week, the alternative metal band Vended released a live music video for their song “The Far Side“, as per theprp. Ian Urquhart directed the video, which was shot on October 25, 2025, in the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts, just like previous recent live videos that the group has posted. During that span, Vended served as an opening for Mudvayne and Static-X. Naturally, Vended features two second-generation metal musicians: drummer Simon Crahan is the son of Taylor’s Slipknot bandmate, M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan, while vocalist Griffin Taylor is the son of Corey Taylor of Slipknot. Vended is currently planning a summer tour in Europe.

Vended was established in 2018 by teenagers Griffin Taylor and Simon Crahan, who subsequently enlisted bassist Jeremiah Pugh and guitarists Cole Espeland and Connor Grodzicki. The band’s name, pronounced with an emphasis on the second syllable as “ven-DEAD,” is derived from the word vendetta, and they initially refrained from touring due to their youth.
