Vader to celebrate 25 years of “Litany” with special vinyl reissue and European tour

Polish death metal legends Vader are gearing up to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their iconic 2000 album “Litany” with a brand-new vinyl reissue. Originally released via Metal Blade Records, the album is now getting a fresh remaster and a deluxe vinyl treatment, due out on June 6th, 2025.

The reissue packs all 11 tracks of “Litany” into a tight 31-minute assault, newly remastered for vinyl by Wojtek Wieslawski at Hertz Recording Studio. Fans will also get a 16-page booklet featuring fresh liner notes from frontman Piotr “Peter” Wiwczarek himself.

In his reflections, Wiwczarek recalls that “Litany” was the band’s fastest and most brutal release at the time. He promises that the album is making a powerful return to the stage—and hints that some songs will be played live for the very first time, or at least for the first time since the 2000–2001 tour.

The 25th anniversary edition will be available in several limited vinyl variants via Metal Blade. And for a taste of what’s to come, the remastered version of the blistering opening track “Wings” is already streaming.
